TIMOTHÉE LECAUDEY (b. 1976)
Born in Paris, France, Timothée Lecaudey studied Classics at La Sorbonne, Archeology in Nanterre, and then Library Sciences in Lyon. He began his training as a photographer in his high school photo club and has since been self-taught. Timo has always lived in France, and has traveled to Spain, Italy, Holland, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Slovenia, Portugal, Turkey, the US and Canada, capturing landscapes, portraits and nature details with his camera. The results of his continued exploration and experimentation with photography are reflective of his curiosity of the world and the medium. Timo's photographs provide the viewer with an opportunity to experience a moment with the artist. These photographs are a vivid recollection of a texture, the flight of an insect, the feeling of a season, its smells and colors experienced by the photographer and brought alive to the viewer through the sensitive capture of his lens. Timothée has walked home from the Eiffel Tower after it sparkles at midnight and spent part of the summer in the Alps, learning the basics of paragliding.
